Because all orders occur under the guidance of our Optometrists you can buy your contact lenses with peace of mind. We are easily contactable in case you need advice and if you need an aftercare appointment this can arranged at our practice if convenient.
To order your contact lenses online you will need your contact lens prescription. This can be obtained from the Optician’s where you had your contact lenses fitted or your last contact lens check. Your contact lens prescription should include;
- Your name and date of birth
- Your contact lens specification including: the brand, material if relevant, base curve, total diameter and power for each eye (sphere) and if you use toric lenses this should include cylinder and axes).
- The date of your last contact lens check
- How long your prescription is valid for.
- The date of your last eye examination and the recall period
- The signature and GOC Number of the prescribing optician and practice details.
If you cannot get hold of these details call or email our team at Perspective Optometrists and we can discuss with you the best way to validate your contact lens details.
Please note that contact lenses cannot be sold online if;
- You are under 16.
- You are registered visually impaired or severely visually impaired.
- If you do not have a valid contact lens prescription.
- Your eye examination is not within 2 years of its recall date.
- The quantity of contact lenses ordered cannot be more than the amount that would take you past your prescription expiry date.
